After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot named Roz is stranded on a desert island To survive the harsh conditions, Roz bonds with the island's animals and takes care of an orphaned baby goose. Lupita Nyong'o talks to writer-director Chris Sanders about their important honor and the time they spent together filming The Wild Robot. According to writer Peter Brown, the inspiration for "The Wild Robot" came from a robot's note in a tree.

The story is so beautiful, honest, and touching that I cried 3 times

I saw Wild Robot when it premiered at TIFF and couldn't stop thinking about it. This is one of those movies that really pulls you in and you're completely transformed by the cinema. It’s a beautiful story of found family, unexpected bonds, and the beauty of motherhood.

I absolutely love this film and can’t wait to see it again

I’m currently reading the book and can’t wait for the rest of the world to see this wonderful film. The animation is so captivating that you’ll find yourself holding your breath every few minutes, especially Brightbill.
